Kindermusik International is seeking to identify a Customer Solutions Associate to join our hands-on, fast-paced goal-oriented team. Kindermusik is not a typical corporate environment. A successful candidate will be one that can work and think outside the box and isn’t afraid to dig in and really show they care about our customers. Translation: You will make decisions, think on your feet, and help new customers get started while providing support for current customers.


Job Description

A Customer Solutions Associate works under the direction of the Customer Solutions Manager in a team environment and is responsible for providing support for customers and sales team members. This includes phone and email communication, data entry, technical support, and basic knowledge of all areas of the business. The ideal candidate will possess great interpersonal skills, an ability to understand and simplify complicated processes and have the energy and desire to help grow accounts and provide solutions and administrative support within Kindermusik. This position will be part of a small internal support team working with Kindermusik teams and customers both domestically and internationally located.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
  • Empathy: ability to craft a message that steers things toward a better outcome
  • Attentiveness to individual customer and team member interactions; ability to read people
  • Clear communication skills: making sure you get to the problem at hand quickly
  • Knowledge of our product; willingness to learn- proactive rather than reactive
  • Effective oral, written and telephone skills; the ability to use positive language
  • Good persuasion skills to convince interested customers that our product is right for them (if it truly is)
  • Time management skills: ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines independently and as a team
  • Strong computer and technology skills –Excel, Word, Skype, Website navigation; Hubspot and Great Plains experience a plus

Education
  • A minimum of an Associate Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • This is a full- time position. Candidates may work from home but also may be needed to work in the corporate office in Greensboro, NC on occasion for special projects.
